The future is BRIGHT for Stony Creek Joint Unified School District (SCJUSD), a rural K-12 district in Northern California serving students from Ladoga to Chrome, covering 600 square miles in Elk Creek. After partnering with the District to install two ground-mounted solar arrays, boasting a robust 141.24 kW DC and 12 kW AC, they will offset 90% of their utility usage. In addition to several efficiency measures our SitelogIQ West team deployed—new HVAC systems, LED retrofits, and controls, to name a few—the District is projected to see annual energy savings of $90,000! Inspiring!
What a terrific success story. We hope water districts will follow this lead of installing sustainable energy sources at their facilities!
