Hello - I am Vivek, a Physicist who runs ultra-marathons in addition to being well acquainted with the Dutch biking culture! I came across your company through the Julia website (JuliaCon 2024). I have extensive experience developing algorithms for scientific applications in Python and MATLAB using applied math techniques. During my Physics degree, I used pure math techniques like real analysis to prove certain theorems for dynamical systems along with using Python. Nowadays, I am dabbling with DL libraries like JAX for Physics-informed ML and SciML. I am planning on getting into Julia seriously to develop a complex-valued neural net from scratch as it may be a better fit for physics problems governed by complex numbers (waves and optics) and hyper-complex numbers (quaternion-based operators) - which is why I always visit the Julia website and this "Julia" trail led to me coming across your Scientific Software Designer job in the Netherlands. I have applied and wanted to leave a comment here. Please feel free to check out my lectures on using JAX for Physics-informed Neural Nets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjH8imO-UWo&t=2638s
