**How to Respond to Rejection and Still Get the Job** Receiving a rejection email doesn't have to be the end. Here's a template to keep the door open and possibly turn things around: --- Dear [Recruiter's Name], I hope you are well. I just wanted to let you know that we have decided to reopen the recruitment process for the position of Senior [Job Title]. Just wanted to check if you still wanted to be considered for the position? I know the last time we spoke you said you would very much like to be considered if circumstances change. Best regards, [Your Name] --- Need more tips? Comment "Support" and I'll help you navigate your job search journey!

Dear Hiring Managers, apparently you are never better than the candidate you are interviewing,its actually disgusting that you call only to put a candidtate on a page of subsequent openings when the said candidtate is waiting actally for a contract, How do you feel when you receive subsequent mail from certain candidates asking what they have done wrong, so they can improve on their next interview, all you do is read the mail relax at your desk and sip some coffee;;;; I prefer rejecting me straight on instead of wasting my hopes and giving me a rejection at the long run I also need to cheep in that the people you feel fit or match most times disappoint you by terminating the contract after few months immediately they find something similar or there likes and move on which takes you back to the drawing board in the search engine. why not give a trial to someone with also a similar experience and get the joy you desire.

Nothing changes if nothing changes. We find ourselves competing for a single position. Rounds of interviews to receive a automated rejection email. So the only thing that remains is to change something each time you fail, a line in your resume, a new part time job, a new certification. Something, anything to improve. The way to succeed is to make yourself so refined and borderline perfect that companies are left with no option but to recruit you. However there is another option, sulk about every rejection till it kills you. The choice is yours.

Week 30 REJECTION MADE ME DO IT 🙄 ♂ Good morning Professionals except Job Seekers who resort to disrespectful behavior when they are not selected for interviews or hired for a job. 😏 😣 ♂ While rejection is tough, insulting recruiters or venting frustrations to anyone involved in the hiring process is never justified. 🤦♀️ ❌ ♂ As a matter of fact, It reflects poorly on your character, detrimental to your reputation, and can also have lasting consequences on your career prospects and future opportunities. ✖ 💯 ♂ Remember, the job market is competitive, and how you conduct yourself matters as much as your qualifications. Often times, I'm tempted to post ridiculous statements from candidates but then again, we maintain steeze and composure no matter what. I can not allow anybody to stain my white. 😎 😅 ♂ Also, recruiters work diligently to evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization. Hence, decisions on who to shortlist for interviews are made through a rigorous and fair process. ✍ ☑ ♂ Let's maintain professionalism in our interactions, regardless of outcomes. Yesterday, I sent out 1200 rejection emails to candidates vying for just TWO positions that I currently support. Out of those applications, perhaps 10% were truly applicable to the roles, and that's being generous. Why am I sharing this? As a Recruiter reviewing each application that comes through (well, for as long as my eyes can stand it), I thought I'd offer some feedback as to why your application might be getting passed over. But remember, feedback can be subjective. What may not work for one company could get you in the door at another, and vice versa. -The candidate market is saturated. A decade ago, receiving 100 applications within three weeks was considered a feat. Now, I receive that many in the first 48 hours. - AI is not reviewing your application (at least not here); I am. Which means you get 10 seconds to demonstrate to me that you 1) understand the job I have advertised and 2) have the scientific qualifications advertised in the posting. - Personally, I prefer quality over quantity when it comes to candidates. I prefer to move forward with the top 5-10 candidates at a time, ensuring that we can provide the best interview experience for both candidates and the hiring team. - You are applying with a 5-page CV that focuses on the wrong parts of your experience. - You’re overqualified, underqualified OR you’re the Cheese Monger who submitted their application (thanks for the entertainment by the way). - You’re relying on your Recruiter to determine your career path in the company instead of learning about the company and role before applying. - You’re applying to ALL the openings at the company with the same resume. - You're communication across LinkedIn/Email/Networking events is coming across hostile and aggressive. - You’re taking the rejection too personal. Each company and team has unique requirements, and what works for one might not work for another. At the end of the day, as Recruiters, our job is to find the right candidate for the job and company. I understand the challenges of the job search process and the emotional toll it can take. And while I'd love to offer everyone a job, it's simply not possible. So, to all the candidates reading this: Stay humble, stay kind, and keep networking. And don't let a company's rejection dictate your worth. Now, back to my resume pile. 🤓

Knock backs can be frustrating.   Not getting a job you wanted is just one of those things. Sometimes it doesn’t work out, but it can point you towards something better. And it’s important to learn from everything.   You might come away from an interview with some feedback that could land you the job next time!  I live by exactly the same thinking in my recruitment role. Why is it important to communicate rejection to job candidates? Communicating rejection to candidates is a critical aspect of the hiring process. It shows respect and consideration for the effort they put into applying and interviewing. Informing them allows them to move on and pursue other opportunities without waiting.
