Crafting the right message for your audience is essential, whether it's the banner on your website, the subject of an upcoming white paper, or a revamp of your brand's core messaging. It's important to resonate with the issues your clients face and demonstrate how your offerings provide the solution they seek. This is especially true in the technical & engineering industry, where building innovative solutions requires an understanding of your customers' challenges. I'm curious, what makes your technical company different? #metrixmarketing #technicalmarketing #aecmarketing
Ever wondered what truly sets your company apart? It's a common challenge for technical firms, many of which default to the same descriptors: 🔘 Our “advanced technical expertise” 🔘 Our “superior services” 🔘 Our “streamlined processes” 🔘 Our “many years of experience” But if these claims are universal, they lose their impact as differentiators. The secret sauce? Simple conversations with your customers can reveal genuine insights. 🗣️ Customer interviews are a goldmine, and here's why they're invaluable: ✅ They pinpoint the exact pain points your clients face. ✅ They reveal the language customers use to describe their challenges. ✅ They foster empathy, helping you understand your clients on a deeper level. ✅ They provide competitive intelligence, giving you an edge in the market. ✅ They inform and refine your brand messaging, making it resonate more strongly Incorporating these real voices into your brand messaging isn’t just a strategy, it’s a game-changer. 🚀 Interested in learning more about brand positioning and messaging development? “Stay transparent with your customers. I always appreciate more communication (informational emails) then none.” Yes, a customer really said that! This is a quote from a recent utility survey. When it comes to communication, striving to communicate as often as they want, in the medium they want, in the language they want, is the way to building trust. What do customers want to hear about? Best to ask what’s important to them. Bellomy Market Research #CustomerInsights #MarketingResearch #Utilities

Do you really know your customers? Every time we ask this question to the participants of our training we mostly get this answer: 😀 - Of course I know my customer So the follow-up question is always: 👏 - Great, can you describe them? Usually, the answer to this question is much shorter and only focused on the specific product that they're selling. Knowing your customers doesn't mean knowing your product and its unique selling points. Knowing your customers means DEEPLY understanding: 👉 Their thought process 👉 The challenges they're facing 👉 Their personalities 👉 Their communication styles 👉 Their preferences in terms of communication channels 👉 Their interests outside their professional life 👉 Their personal ambitions And we can go on and on! The only way to develop this deep understanding is by running customer research 🚀 Customer research can be done in many ways, but our favorites are: 🔥 Personally interviewing your customers 🔥 Using surveys 🔥 Netnography: or basically observing the digital presence of your customers and finding common patterns among them Once you finish, you will have a very good representation of your customer and you'll be able to build a buyer persona! We have a template to help you do all this in the most efficient way possible. In the template you will find: - A complete buyer persona template - A very detailed explanation for each item you have to research to simplify the process for you - A survey sample that you can customize to research your audience Get your template below and don't hesitate to reach out to our team if you are not able to use it on your own. 👇 https://lnkd.in/g-_z4b6u #businessdevelopment #thebdschool #businessdevelopmenttips
