I’ve had the pleasure of viewing a “3D memory” (recorded via a volumetric capture lab) through AR glasses. It’s the closest thing I’ve experienced IRL to reliving or inhabiting a repeatable memory. Now, 3D volumetric memories can be captured via a mobile app and/or AR glasses (with family or friends as a Consumer use case). I can also imagine Enterprise use cases for Branded Entertainment, Education, Training, Healthcare, Fitness, Advance Communication, Gaming, Travel, etc. Imagine capturing/recording a 3D volumetric space with actors, such as the film set for the most recent “Dune 2” climactic fight scene or on the set of “House of the Dragon” tv series complete with volumetric actors and cg dragons, viewed from any angle as an AR memory.
