Rather than sit up and beg for links, the leading pet care brand, Greenies, built a creative strategy and had the links coming to them. How did they do it? In August 2023 they launched a PR campaign surrounding their dog dental products, in partnership with American fashion designer, Christian Siriano. The result: A spike in natural backlinks from high-traffic domains led to 112.9% traffic growth during that month.
