The World Jewellery Confederation, or CIBJO (Confédération International de la Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfèvrerie des Diamants, Perles et Pierres), is the primary international jewellery, gemstones and precious metals association, representing the interests of all individuals, organisations and companies earning their livelihoods from the mining, processing, manufacturing and trade of these products. It is the oldest such organisation, having originally been established in 1926. This November, Key & Co is supporting CIBJO's annual congress in Shanghai. It is a role that brings together many of our areas of expertise, across transportation, mining, manufacturing, global supply chains and consumer products. We supported CIBJO at last year's congress in Jaipur where we discussed ESG principles and action plans. Since our inception, the Austmine branding has gone through various iterations and has been closely aligned with Austrade’s logo, with our kangaroo iconography purposely drawing a strong connection to Australia. This connection has served us well in growing our organisation and promoting the Australian METS sector on the global stage. While our Australian heritage remains central to who we are, our new branding reflects a more dynamic and global outlook while encompassing our core values and key purpose of facilitating connections and collaboration across the mining ecosystem. With its circular, interconnected lines and nodes, and feeling of movement and fluidity, the new Austmine brand signifies: Connectedness, Innovation, Technology Advancement, Circularity and Global Focus.
