Hi, everybody. We're here at our booth here at Infocom. I'm really excited about this session that we're about to do. I have Kevin here from our team here at church and I have Amit Simani from Meet Guys. Before we get started, if you don't mind introducing yourselves, Kevin, if you can go first. Kevin Smith, senior director of market development, for sure Incorporated North America, then that you're a long time associate, 25 years. Wow, awesome. Yeah. My name is Amit Simoni. I'm the Regional Sales Director for Meat. I cover our enterprise accounts on the West Coast. So that's interesting for 1500 employees big and bigger. I've been in the collaboration space for just under a year. Wow, awesome. So I really wanted to have both of you over here because I feel that the two of you through kind of knowing you both have a great pulse of the market and what's happening out there and you know, there's a lot of trends. That we see and I'm I'm curious maybe just as a starting point. If I throw the word transit, you of what you guys are seeing in the market, what do you guys see? Obviously, you know, with the changes post COVID, everybody kind of going back to work, that the going back to work thing, you know, return to work has become a, a big topic, you know, a big topic for everybody, whether it's optional, whether it's two days a week, three days a week, or some people just have a hybrid policy in general. And so we're seeing lots of medium sized spaces, spaces that are flex spaces, spaces that have to do accomplish more than just one thing. And so it's, it's been an interesting transition over the past couple of months. What was really surprising was just the level of. How many different vendors are trying to solve the same problem? But what what I've really noticed is the fact that if you look across the shop floor today. I'd say a lot of vendors are trying to optimize for different things. It's no longer seems to be about features and benefits. A lot of what we're hearing is about price and convenience, simplifying the experience. Customers are trying to reduce the level of complexity and within environments and that's certainly what one of the trends that we're seeing. Yeah, absolutely. I would concur. I mean, ease of use, you know, you're dealing with people, they just want to come in, they want to start a meeting, they want to get something rolling and they don't want to have any sort of frustration, which is working well. So as I said, I'm new to the industry before this I was doing. The reason I actually decided to get into collaboration was I was working for Motorola. I was having to give a presentation to 300 people. I literally couldn't get my device to work. And that was the day that I got a phone call from me. And I was like, what do you guys do? And they said, we're trying to give it a much easier experience for setting up. And after seeing it, I was like, I have to join because this is something that's going to be in a bigger way. Yeah, absolutely. Ease of use is one of the biggest factors out there today. That's awesome. So Kevin, you mentioned spaces, right, like the different spaces, flex spaces, you know, one of the trends that I feel that is out there right now is that. Larger spaces are kind of more in need. Ohh, absolutely. If you go back prior to COVID, it was all about the huddle room and that's where we were at. Everything had to be small. It had to be a nice little tight huddle room. And now we're seeing that completely different. And you know, rooms have to accomplish more. So you have a lot more open space, a lot more flex space. It has to accomplish so many different things than just just accomplish that. Just a meeting, you know, so you have all hands spaces. Now. The office has really become a destination. You know, it's like we're trying to bring people back to the office. Space these days really has to accomplish a lot of things. Yeah. It is that something you guys are seeing as well? Yeah, I mean. If you think about most of our customers, they're not fully back to work yet and what they're now trying to accomplish. I I saw something really cool the other day. I forget where the study was from, but they were saying that now people are starting to even build like desk space at different heights. And that determines what kind of meeting you can have. So if you have Destasio, it's quite high. It means you're gonna have a more creative meeting and you can sit down low. So there were all these like. Different factors that people are thinking about it was this in meeting rooms, like even in like meeting rooms and spaces? Wow, it's crazy the level of science that people are now having to put into these things. But as you're saying, it's like. When people are in the office, they wanna have different use cases for what they're doing in different environments. Well, guys, I really appreciate your insight and kind of what you're, you know, sharing with the group. Obviously, we also have our partnership that we've been, we've been working on which really kind of addresses this exact need that kind of we're seeing in the market, right, those larger spaces, being able to use an appliance and being able to use our solutions along with it, which is really exciting. I mean, if anybody wants to see kind of the need solutions, anybody from the show audience, where can they find the stuff? I mean, before I start, can I just say the word that so we have a very, very large presence within the fortune one hundreds, 5 hundreds. The word that I've probably heard twenty times over the shop floor is game changer. OK, alright. So if we think about what need does, we provide all-in-one devices that really simplify the level of architecture you need. But where there is potentially challenges is when you're talking about larger spaces or town halls. The audio experience starts to degrade in the bigger environments. This integration is absolutely game changing for us because suddenly it means that we can expand our footprint into a bigger place. And also for sure, it means that we can have a really good collaboration experience on that end. So Long story short, we are working it out in a way of getting things going, but we are so, so excited to partner you guys. It's awesome. Yeah, I know when you start to expand the size of a room, audio becomes a real consideration. You can't fool physics, right? But we can do a pretty good job of it, right? So products like the MSA. 10/02 The 920, they really reach out into the the space of the room and bring the audio closer. You know, in the case of the 902, you have a speaker that's actually on board. So you're actually putting not just the microphone out there, but you're also putting the speaker out there all in one device. Really great opportunity to to pair up with need and then offer those bundles. Yeah. Well, guys, thank you for your time. I really appreciate it. Wait, wait, wait. I thought we were talking about tacos. You said we were gonna talk about tacos. That's true. You guys, Americans, you don't know anything about tacos. English people know more about tacos than Americans. Live in Austin, TX. One thing I do know, I know tacos. I think us in Southern California know the most about tacos. But you call them burritos. We do call them burritos. See, that's the problem. You have only a problem. If you ever wanna talk about good food like beans on toast. I'm your guy. Beans on toast, huh? Yeah. I guess we're gonna wrap. Yeah. Thank you. Bye, guys.To view or add a comment, sign in
