Having built the supply chain for ecommerce holding VALOREO I saw first hand how we could have an edge with our operation that we tailored from the start to the realities of digital commerce over companies who struggled to transform their traditional streamlined supply chain model to the dynamic consumer behaviour on #ecommerce marketplaces, such as Amazon. When there is more choice for consumers, there is also less patience. A product that is out of stock is not only a missed sales opportunity for a brand in that moment, it also means consumers will try a competitor product that is available, which can significantly affect brand loyalty and future revenues. At Ameba this is exactly what we are building towards to: A system agile enough to respond to today’s sudden changes in supply and demand through augmented intelligence - A system that enables #procurement teams to immediately focus on what matters the most, rather than spending vast amounts of time and money trying to keep an entire product portfolio in-stock, which usually means stock-outs for bestseller items and excess inventory, waste, and locked-up working capital for all the other products consumers don’t want anymore.
