🌟 Mental health matters: In the process of growing up, your mental health is of foremost importance. Mental health is more important than your physical health because you can work on your growth despite physical fatigue or issues. However, without mental wellness, you can't handle yourself and work for your growth. Prioritize your mental health; don't just focus on external sources. Maintain a calm mind even in the toughest situations. Learn to control your emotions. I know it's not easy, but we have to do it. Don't react extremely to both wins and fails. Take victories as incentives and failures as lessons. 🌱🌈 If you maintain your mental health well, you can also maintain a healthy relationship with others. It's also a part of the process of managing yourself because if you can't handle yourself, how can you handle others? 🤝❤️ You can make meaningful contributions to yourself and your working environments, surrounded by people. Control your inner psychological state. Your emotions are tools that impact your future growth. 🧠💪 "Keep calm for your mental health. Maintaining good mental health is the process that makes you personally stable." 😌🌟 #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthisimportant #personaldevelopment #personalgrowth #selfgrowth #selfimprovement #growthmindset #growth

Mental Health should not have a stigma. We talk freely about out physical health, and it should be the same with mental health. Mental Health is not the problem, it is the solution. Do your mental health programs in your workplace talk positively about mental health?, or is the language focussed on getting better like mental health is indeed a problem. We need to meet people where they are and allow them to be productive no matter where they are at. When describing your mental well-being programs avoid terms like “suffering from mental health issues” etc and use terms like “living with”. It’s a small change but takes the negativity aware that subconsciously creates stigma. Your actions would also need to back these positive words. We all have mental health. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not so good, and that goes for all of us. Our workplace mental health programs need to cater for us throughout our lives, careers and mental health journey. Not just be a phone number to call when things get tough. #mentalhealth #smashthestigma #wellbeing #leadership #whatinspiresme #humanresources #linkedin

Do I start this post talking about the journey from mental health to mental strength.... Or the statistic that 40% of men said it would take thoughts of suicide or self-harm to compel them to seek professional help…. We need to acknowledge the 40% first in order to move on. And be aware that our ‘Man-up’ culture doesn’t seem to be working. This survey by the priory has some scary reading. 77% of men have suffered with the symptoms of negative mental health. If this was an exam we have failed. Mental health is critical. Mental health is more than just feeling ok. Mental health is the ability to handle what the world throws at us. Look at mental health like physical health. If you are nearly fit - You are still not fit. If you are stiff and rigid - You are not flexible and supple. A huge component of our physical health is having physical strength. This is something that will aid us as we get older. We need to view mental health in the same way. Mental health is not just the absence of mental health issues. Good mental health is also having mental strength. We do the reps for physical strength, We need to do the reps for mental strength.. There are a lot of ways to do this: ✅ Practice Self-Awareness ✅ Develop Healthy Habits ✅ Set Goals and Stay Organized ✅ Challenge Your Comfort Zone ✅ Cultivate a Positive Mindset ✅ Build Strong Relationships ✅ Enhance Emotional Regulation ✅ Increase Mental Resilience ✅ Reframing situations. ✅ Practice Self-Compassion What do you do to build your mental strength? And if you are in that 40% - please don't wait. #mensmentalhealth #menshealth #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #markcarolancoaching

Mental health is essential to our overall well-being. It influences how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Good mental health isn’t just the absence of mental health problems. Being mentally or emotionally healthy is much more than being free of depression, anxiety, or other psychological issues. Rather than the absence of mental illness, mental health refers to the presence of positive characteristics. Mentally healthy people have: A sense of contentment. A zest for living and the ability to laugh and have fun. The ability to deal with stress and bounce back from adversity. There is a sense of meaning and purpose in both their activities and relationships. The flexibility to learn new things and adapt to change. A balance between work and play, rest and activity, etc. The ability to build and maintain fulfilling relationships. Self-confidence and high self-esteem. These positive mental and emotional health characteristics allow you to participate in life to the fullest extent possible through productive, meaningful activities and strong relationships. These positive aspects of mental health are part of the fabric of your life, not something you do in your spare time. #mentalhealthmatters #health #mental #talkingisgood
