Today is not only the start of February but a chance to honor Black history. Celebration of Black History month has continued with various names since its inception, 47 years ago. It’s a chance to amplify the resilience, rich history, and remarkable achievements of Black Americans. This is a month to learn more about American history and reflect on present day contributions by our Black relatives, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. At Employbridge, we encourage our colleagues and associates to use this time to learn from one another and foster a culture of appreciation. #blackhistorymonth

Black History Month is a time to spotlight and celebrate the honorable contributions, achievements, and culture of Black Americans and their communities. However, these efforts should be applied year-round. Fortunately, at DeVry, we can lean into our business resource groups, including the Association of Black Colleagues (ABC), to enable continuous learning by going deeper into discussions and making meaningful connections. From my perspective, as a collective – organizations, businesses, and society as a whole – can acknowledge and support the significance of Black History beyond the month of February. #BlackHistoryMonth Learn more here: https://devry.ly/3T3PCcn

In the words of Dr. Robert Livingston: "Black history is not just for Black people. Black history IS American history." Black History Month celebrates more than the history of the heritage and cultural contributions to our country. We also celebrate history in the making and there are some truly incredible things happening in the community that will undoubtedly shape the future. Today I would like to shine a spotlight on some of my friends who are making a huge impact and inspiring future generations of leaders across the country: Have you seen what entrepreneurs like Stanley Rameau and Derek E. Canton are up to in the financial community? How about the philanthropy of Calvin M., David Z. Everett, and The Equitas Group? Emerson Foster and Paul Francisco (He, Him, His) are literally bringing thousands of Black professionals together each year to network and uplift one another via the Men's and Women's Dinner Group! Thank you to each of you for breaking barriers, paving the way, and educating others through your work. Black history is more than slavery, civil rights, and cultural richness. It is about resilience, innovation, and creating an impact on the entire world.
This month, we celebrate the rich tapestry of Black History. Black History Month is a time to honor, reflect, and embrace the profound and significant contributions of African Americans to human history. We reflect on narratives that have often been overlooked or marginalized, learn and re-learn about the heritage, and celebrate the resilience and triumphs in an unyielding pursuit of justice. The Black community is filled with global icons in art, music, literature, science, technology, and business. We honor those who have trailblazed a path for future generations and those who continue to inspire us with their vision, determination, and commitment to positive change. We stand with our brothers and sisters in challenging stereotypes, combating systemic racism, and actively participating in fostering empathy, unity, and celebration of diversity. Happy Black History Month from your friends at Ambassador Recruiting Services, Inc.!

Black history is being made year-round, but I am grateful to have a month to reflect on the many ways African Americans have contributed to culture and society. From trailblazers who opened new doors, to the new generation currently shaping our future, Black history is vibrant, resilient, and dynamic. As a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, I encourage everyone to use this month to amplify Black voices, explore the rich history, and examine what you can do in your daily lives to advance social justice. https://lnkd.in/ezjC_-TU

February is Black History Month, a special time for honoring and celebrating the many achievements of Black Americans while acknowledging the challenges they face both past and present. Black investors in the U.S. hold more than $6 trillion of wealth, yet many are under-invested. Advisors can play a critical role in helping close that gap and reinforcing the continued growth of Black wealth and prosperity. BlackRock’s resources are designed to help advisors build authentic relationships with Black investors and earn their trust -> https://1blk.co/4bNStxl #BlackHistoryMonth #wealthmanagement #professionaldevelopment #financialadvisors
