Tired of your people treating cybersecurity like it's rocket science? 🚀 Let's shift your org's culture towards REASONABLE cybersecurity. Here's why it matters: • Cyber threats are growing fast  • There’s no cyber cavalry to rescue you. • Culture change boosts your defenses without big spending. 5 steps to make it happen: 1. Start at the top • Treat cyber as the material business risk it's become. • Know your true top five cyber risks, wherever they are. • Tie cyber goals to business outcomes. 2. Make it personal • Include internal influencers in discovery of top five cyber risks. • Use real-world examples employees relate to. • Give each individual role appropriate cyber responsibilities. 3. Keep it simple • Mitigate top cyber risks by blending people, process, management, and tech. • Use “minimum viable” controls. • Optimize the security features already in your tech stack. 4. Reward good behavior • Recognize security champions. • Offer incentives for spotting phishing attempts. • Celebrate teams that improve their practices. 5. Train, but make it fun • Use gamification in security training. • Run cyber escape rooms or capture the flag events. • Create friendly competition between departments. Remember: “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” - Peter Drucker • A strong security culture beats fancy tech. • Small daily actions add up to big protection. • Everyone pulls together on the cyber rope. • Cybersecurity is not rocket science!

What a fantastic and practical approach to cybersecurity! I love how you emphasize culture and simplicity over complex tech solutions. The idea of making training fun with gamification and cyber escape rooms is brilliant! 🎮 It's so true that small daily actions can lead to significant protection.

Great advice! Thank you for sharing Kip. Sometimes we get lost in this world and forget some of our basic needs.

So many thoughts, agreements and opposition to a few points - all good in theory but… Gamification isn’t proven and global companies need a rock solid plan to consider this at their company. Culture, again amazing but whose building it? Where’s the cheat sheet? Let’s make one! Ooo what a great discussion and debate Kip!
