I recently read a post discussing the idea of “No Sprint Backlog, More Flexibility?” I believe this approach leads to scope creep and bottlenecks. Agile emphasizes individuals and interactions over processes and tools, but it doesn't advocate abandoning all structure. Misinterpreting Agile principles this way can result in failure, missed sprint goals due to a lack of defined scope, and additional bottlenecks. In my opinion, this is a flawed Agile practice. Agile is a mindset, but it requires a balanced approach. Balancing flexibility with discipline is key to the success of agile. What are your thoughts on this approach? Have you tried similar adaptations in your Scrum practice? Let’s discuss it! #Agile #Scrum #Productivity #Teamwork #ProjectManagement #SoftwareDevelopment #ContinuousImprovement #Lean #DevOps

3moI have found that Todd's remark about the value of increased transparency produced even when facing dependencies to be a cornerstone of Scrum. It is my believe that mocking is the unsung hero when encountering blockers that are the result of dependencies on another team. While the other team might not have time available to build the implementation, they should be able to invest a small amount of time agreeing to interfaces that can be mocked to keep the ball rolling.
