ARMY AS A CAREER OPTION
The decision to pursue a career in the army holds profound significance for any country. The valor, dedication, and sacrifice of those who choose this path contribute immeasurably to safeguarding the nation's security and upholding its values.
Embarking on an army career demands courage beyond measure, as it entails a willingness to face adversity head-on. The commitment to protect and serve often involves confronting life-threatening situations, where the ultimate sacrifice may be required. While this reality cannot be understated, the rewards of an army career transcend mortality.
Soldiers, through their selfless dedication, forge an unbreakable bond with their nation. Their bravery echoes through history, leaving an indelible mark of honor and respect. Their sacrifice embodies the essence of heroism, inspiring generations and standing as a testament to unwavering commitment.
Even in the face of peril, the rewards of an army career endure beyond one's mortal existence. The legacy of valor persists, shining as a beacon of hope and resilience. The bravery and sacrifices of these individuals resonate across time, immortalizing their contributions to the nation's fabric.
In essence, an army career epitomizes the epitaph: 'Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.' It symbolizes an unwavering dedication to a cause larger than oneself, leaving behind a legacy that transcends mortality and enriches the very essence of a nation.

Today is #remembranceday2023.
It's a day to salute the courage of our soldiers and recognize the departed ones.
Did you know that World War 1 impacted Nigeria and Canada?
Did you know that fighting during the World War I also happened in Africa?
Do you know that the winners of the war determined the language spoken in different countries?
I also suggested ideas to manage veterans better and ensure a World of Peace. The Workplace should treat veterans well.
Let's remember that Soldiers are employees, and those who died during wartime died on duty. We should honor and respect these gallant souls who offered to serve in a role that could lead to paying the Supreme price.

Wars and supporters
With so many wars both internal and external going on, reminds me of the Mahabharata war. This war could have been avoided but despite krishna being around he couldn't stop the war.
All wars come with a code of war ethics. Some don't understand ethics at all so that's there.
If we see the kurukshetra war in Mahabharata, you will see that both parties send out the war notice to the entire nation and beyond. Two reasons, one being immigration and another being a support system. When both duryodhana and yudhisthira sent out the notice, kings of other states had to pick sides and send army support to them. Each unit was referred as akshauhini equivalent to regiment of these days.
Each akshauhini had about 2.6L people including charioteers, foot soldiers, horse riders and mahouts.
We all know Yudhisthira was fighting for dharma and duryodhana sided adharma as he wanted to have everything with him. So if given a choice, most people would take a side of dharma (even though they might not actually understand the meaning of dharma). It's natural for anybody to presume that Yudhisthira had more of akshauhini isn't it?
But guess what? Out of 18 akshauhini, 11 stood in support of duryodhana and 7 with yudhisthira! Except 11 of the participating warriors, 47 lakh people from all 18 akshauhini died in 18 days of the kurukshetra war. That's what war does.
What I see here, although people knew duryodhana was not playing fair they still stood with him for the reason only they knew starting from diplomacy to fear. This also tells about how the world rallies for and against war nations.
Did you know Krishna fought against his own army narayani Sena in kurukshetra?
