Those words were spoken to me about the construction industry this morning by a 30 year veteran of Sargent. I hired him as a laborer in 1992. He talked about his preparedness to meet challenges, both personal and professional -- and how prepared he will be for eventual retirement, 10-15 years away. He has built a LIFE in this industry. And while HE's built a life, I also know he has impacted hundreds of lives during his career, and will continue to do so. That's what this industry CAN mean to people. Let's make sure it DOES mean this to people. Their futures can be changed, and they can change futures. It's a big part of why I love what I do.
