Ok you missed it. But that's ok. Now is the time to start planning for next year. You've been busy doing stellar work and it's about time you got the credit for it. That's right. I'm talking about The Stevies. The world's premier business awards. The deadline for 4 of the awards has passed for 2024: Stevie® Awards for Great Employers The International Business Awards Stevie® Awards for Women in Business and Stevie® awards for Technology Excellence ... all ended this month for 2024. Award ceremonies to take place in NYC for all except the IBA's which will be held in Turkey this year. The Stevies now have 9 awards but only 5 really available for enterprising and innovative companies and organisations (and individuals) in the UK. The other (5th in the list)available to the UK is the Stevie® awards for Sales & Customer Service - deadline 11 October 2024. So still a bit of time to prepare your nominations and book your tickets to The Big Apple in April 2025. FYI the other region specific awards are: American Business Awards Asia Pacific Business Awards German Stevie Awards Middle East & North Africa Awards ... in case you have business activity or clients in these regions. Sharing with my Remuneration & Reward network...job titles (including "Ticket Slayer"), to make us feel old! Thanks to Jairus Ashworth and the awesome team @ AON for an insightful and interesting event as always, and great to meet everyone during our networking session. Gone are the days when job titles indicated responsibility & accountability and "slays" were pulled by reindeers..! "The term “slay” is often used as slang to describe someone who has done exceptionally well or impressed others. It is commonly associated with fashion, music, and artistic performance but can be used in various contexts"....such as job titles it seems...go figure!
