Candy Chromatography Kits - say that 3 times fast. About 3 dozen of us gathered at our Boston Hub to assemble 500 STEM kits in record time for Science from Scientists. We worked together to find efficiencies in the assembly process and avoided eating too many skittles so there were enough left for the kits. Over the summer SciSci give students kits to have fun with science and to see themselves as scientists. Thanks to Sarah Weaver, Madison (Morin) Herrington from SciSci, and my colleagues for the fun afternoon: Stephanie Lee, Rittwika Barman, Christopher Brundage, Jennifer Clack, MBA, McKaila Coulter, Beth Dinneen, William (Bill) Doyle, Kevin Farrell, Sanjay Gowda, Ramadas Kandamuthan, Mamta Karthik, Lorenzo Kettere, Andrea Laffin, Susan Leduc, Charlene Mcnamara, Francisco Mejia, Michelle Miller, Noranyeli Molina Realpe, James Mulhern, Pak Ng, Lisa O'leary, Cindy Ott, Soumyadeep Pan, Jaganathan Pandurangan, Vaidehi P., Richard Pichette, neal pressman, Archana Sarda, Tiffany Slocum, Sunil Y., Yako Yako, Joy Y. Special thanks to Donna Navedo-Sexton, MA, Chelsea Falkenstein, and Dragica Zoric for all your help! #iamvz #stem #candy #inspiration #sweetscience

Thank You Cathleen Finn for all you do to support Verizon and its community involvement in Boston. The STEM volunteer event with all the Verizon V-teamers was a lot of fun and such a great cause to be part of.

Cathleen - Thanks for bringing these opportunities to volunteer to Verizon. I'm looking forward to the next one in August!
