The Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) members from 60 schools in Faryab, Sar-i-pul, and Jawzjan received vital school safety training, thanks to Save the Children’s Sponsorship program. This two-day training is helping create safer and more inclusive learning environments for our children. The impact of this training has been profound, equipping PTA members with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance school safety protocols and foster a supportive educational atmosphere. #SaferSchool #SchoolSafety #SavetheChildren

January 15 marked the first day of school for the majority of children in Lesotho. At THIRST, we recognize the importance of reviving the active participation of children in #WASH activities, from simple tasks such as #handwashing with running water and soap at critical times to #plantingtrees to improve access to fruits for all children. We make a call for #schools to be centers of joy, learning and new opportunities #happyschoolyear #sdg2 #sdg4 #sdg6 #sdg7

#InternationalDayOfEducation Education is a human right, a public good and a public responsibility. "Today, 250 million children and youth are out of school, and 763 million adults are illiterate. Their right to education is being violated and it is unacceptable. It's time to transform education." UNESCO At Sport 4 Life, we understand the importance of education and believe in allowing young people to create a better future for themselves. It's our mission to provide opportunities for young people to move into sustained education, employment, or training. It’s YOUR move: #SMART START for an empowered mindset & Entrepreneurial future! MiniChess, goes beyond traditional #teaching methodologies. It is the only program I have encountered that seamlessly integrates #learning and #play, adhering to the principle of "learning through play." This unique approach not only captures the attention of young #learners but also ensures that they eagerly anticipate each session with their MiniChess teacher. www.minichessfranchise.com #earlychildhoodeducation #earlylearning #education #thinkingskills
REGISTRATIONS for 2024 are open! With franchises all over the country, and also the choice to do online- or hybrid classes, be sure that we will find an option to suit your schedule as a busy parent. MiniChess is not chess-coaching or learning how to play chess, even though that is one of the added benefits. MiniChess is an award-winning programme, teaching children from a young age, the skills they would need to not just be school ready, but to thrive in a fast-changing world. With early childhood development funding being cut in various provinces and schools in South Africa, we as parents have to take control!
