Since 1999, paper packaging designs and tastes have changed. Sappi’s timber plantations in South Africa are both FSC and PEFC certified; and all of Sappi’s mills are Chain of Custody certified.

When we think of bold and vibrant, the richly coloured chameleon 🦎, which is the July image in our AI calendar, immediately comes to mind. Printed with a spot glass textured Scodix finish, to make it truly stand out. Forests play a crucial role, providing habitat for approximately 80% of terrestrial plant and animal species. They are the most diverse ecosystems on land. At Sappi, we’re deeply committed to conserving biodiversity and restoring nature 🌎. To achieve this, we’ve set aside and meticulously maintain approximately 135,000 hectares of land through Sappi Forests. Great to see this as we celebrate #YouthDay 🇿🇦

We're excited to share the success of our recent participation at the Challenge the Fabric (CTF) event in Milan, hosted by Ekman and the Swedish Fashion Council! With 200 industry leaders, including pulp and fibre producers, designers, brand owners, spinners, fabric makers, and NGOs, it was an incredible platform for collaboration and innovation in the MMCF (Manmade Cellulosic Fibres) industry. Bernhard Riegler, VP Marketing Sappi Dissolving Pulp (Sappi Verve)’s impactful panel discussion on “Ensuring a Sustainable Supply of Woodfibres” showcased our strong commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and social responsibility. His message resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the positive impact of using wood-based fibres in textiles. We received excellent feedback and engaged in meaningful interactions that underscored the importance of sustainability and collaboration in driving the industry forward.
