The Women in Sustainability Conference organised by Women in Adria Bosna i Hercegovina illuminated 💡 the role of women at the forefront of eco-innovation. As the moderator of a deeply engaging panel, I was joined by Ivona Kristic Zametica, Adna Džananović, Zerina Čolaković and Zina Prguda Jusic. Their contributions were as impactful as they were enlightening, providing a clear view into the sustainable transformation happening within Bosnia and Herzegovina's business realm. ☘ The dialogue also shed light on the impressive strides taken by visionaries like Jelena Čačulović from Weltplast, Vilma Tunjic Juzbasic from the Mozaik Foundation, and Hanadi Džabić from RCB Nanotechnologies GmbH, who are each driving the sustainability agenda forward within their sectors. Our discussions traversed the intersection of consumer behavior with sustainable practices. We pondered whether the eco-conscious ethos is influencing purchasing decisions, especially among women in BiH, or if affordability remains the prime motivator. This morning, prompted by a query on professional attire, I found myself contemplating our fashion habits. 👗 How do they align with our commitment to sustainability? Very much looking forward to presenting Eurasia Group's Top Risks for 2024 tomorrow in Oslo. Three wars look set to dominate world affairs this year with significant implications for the macroeconomic outlook. Russia vs. Ukraine, Israel vs. Hamas, and the United States vs. itself, with politics becoming increasingly divisive as we approach a US election with important ramifications for trade, fiscal, and foreign policy and how the US sees its role in the world. Aino already supports the well-being of more than 50,000 public sector employees in Finland. Their systematic proactive way of reducing and eliminating sick leave is unique in the world. My home country Sweden and Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner should learn from Finland as the rest of the world. I am not kidding and meet the requirements and dreams of global thought leaders on wellbeing and work-ability. The current approach in Sweden is to do do what you need to do and hence be compliant. Aino will empower what you should do to drive social sustainability and maximum ability to contribute. Once you fall in the water it is too late to avoid getting wet .-) Employers who use only typically get the following benefits: - sickness absences clearly decreased - increased equality in supervisor work - improved well-being at work - a more attractive and responsible employer image - increased retention power of skilled labour - reporting and efficiency enabled by digitalisation The business case including the social shared value is rocket solid why there is no rational reason to not consider the Aino way. There are only emotional resistance before you understand the implication of a shrinking pool of talents across Europe. Everyone shoud be able to be a talent in what they do.
