After finally receiving access to Counter Strike 2, I made my first map. Wanted to start out with a simple 3 lane design, to get a feel for the new level editor. The process included a blockout, texturing, clutter, gameplay aspects (spawns, buy/bomb zones etc.) and lighting. Here's to day 13 of #Devcember, for today I've been working on getting moves to deal damage along with the player states during battle, I've got damage to be dealt based on the users attack and opponents defence with a random modifier of 0.85 to 1 along with considering modifiers that I plan to add later such as types and stat boosts. I've also disabled the move selection while the players move is being carried out. The next thing I'm thinking of is how I'm going to show both players UI, my first though is doing a split screen with two cameras, each with their own player UI. #Devcember #pixelart #unity #lookingforwork #lookingforopportunities #indiedev

Hello Everyone! Today im posting about Unreal Tower Defence, the personal project im currently working on. Since the last post, ive made some great improvements, the master tower system is now partially complete and is beginning to become what i intended it to be: A quick and Easy way to balance towers As far as menu's go, I've made alot of progress, Crates now show accurate % chances of getting each skin within it, taking into account the weight of rarities, these chances always add up to 100, I can finally wipe a large section off my whiteboard! Woo! As for future plans, its mostly finishing the master tower, backpack system, finding the best way to show the player what rarity names actually mean, and making the final content additions before the first pre alpha testing build is sent out, something i am very nervous, but very exited for Below ill provide some screenshots of the weighted % system working (Please note that the skin icons are placeholders)
