DPR exists to build great things. I work across our business to share the stories of our work and our people.
Recently got to speak with Allison Carter from Ragan Communications and PR Daily about crisis communications. Members of Ragan's CLC can view the entire article. Main takeaways? Communicators need to plan for even the most unlikely scenarios, should think about how they would approach crises in the news and, most of all, have a plan (and train people on how to work the plan).

In this episode of CEO Insights, Kurt Strovink sits down with Laurel Moglen to discuss approaches CEOs use to connect meaningfully with their stakeholders and the importance of proprietary narratives around the “who” and the “why" inside their organizations.

As someone closer to retirement than I ever expected to be at this point in my life, this article warms my heart more than you can imagine. The best leaders I have ever worked for have recognized the important role of communications/corporate affairs person not someone who just writes the memos, but thinks through the ramifications, the potential crisis, and the overall stakeholder reaction proactively! 40 years in the business, and it’s wonderful to see a coming of age and recognition of the important role we communicators have played. https://lnkd.in/ed_rX5GM

Being transparent with your PR deliverables is key to securing long-term clients. In my 17 years as a media and PR leader, I've learned some valuable tips: - Clearly outline what clients can expect from your PR services. - Be honest about the results they can anticipate. - Communicate openly about the strategies and tactics you will use. - Provide regular updates on progress and outcomes. Transparency is the foundation of trust and is essential for nurturing strong, lasting client relationships. #PR #Media #Leadership
