The third and final pillar of our role within the European Reference Networks is: Partner 🤝 In this role, EURORDIS has consistently collaborated with other partners in various projects and initiatives leading to the establishment of the ERNs. Currently, we are involved in the recently launched Joint Action to integrate ERNs into national health systems (JARDIN). This is a three-year initiative that aims to connect national health systems with the ERNs. But what does this actually mean? 🤔 The ERNs are a vital infrastructure, connecting healthcare providers, specialists, researchers and patient representatives from across Europe, but for them to reach their full potential they must become seamlessly integrated into existing health systems. This integration will allow each national health system to benefit from the ERNs, enhancing their abilities to provide better care! Learn more about JARDIN and what this partnership could mean for you! 👉 https://lnkd.in/dayFnN7D #EuropeanReferenceNetworks #ERNs #collaboration #support #PatientPartnership #networks #advocacy #rarediseases

Parliamentarians play a crucial role in shaping the global health agenda by leveraging their influence to advocate for stronger health policies, increased funding, and international collaborations. In my time here I have got a little exposure and observe the work of some MPs in UK and how they are in forefront to address Health agendas that transcend their country through different coalitions and their all part Parliamentary groups (APPGs), the link between them and health experts allow them to address issues with evidence and stay updated with ongoing research. As youth who have been involved in some high level advocacy, It is always a heartbreaking experience when I hear MPs perpetuating misinformation or speak about health without evidence or clear knowledge. We need to establish a strong link between health experts and MPs for best advocacy and achieving appropriate legislation for healthcare. Tanzanian MPs has a potential to drive impactful change, promoting a healthier future for all and we have examples of wonderful MPs doing this already. #GlobalHealth #Tanzania #ParliamentaryLeadership #HealthPolicy #EvidenceBased
