We made a zipcode map for the San Gabriel Valley area in Great Los Angeles. There are a total of 11 zip codes: Monterey Park (91754, 91755), Alhambra (91801, 91803), San Gabriel (91775, 91776), Rosemead (91770), Temple City (91780), El Monte (91731, 91732, 91733). Within these eleven zipcodes, there is a population of approximately 430,000, with a conservative estimate of around 200,000 being Chinese. I believe this area to be one of the most concentrated areas of Chinese population in the United States. Walking around here feels no different from being in China, with Chinese restaurants offering good value for money. There are over ten large Chinese supermarkets, approximately 100,000 residential addresses, around 9,000 commercial addresses, and roughly 250 postal routes. Digging into and integrating information within these zipcod is our main task. www.samezip.com #zipcodes #bigdata #lastmail #local

On August 14, join staff from Florida Gulf Coast University and East Tennessee State University as they discuss their migration journey to Rapido. Business owners and librarians alike report a surge in dangerous incidents, ranging from vandalism to aggressive behavior by individuals under the influence, complicating the narrative of an improving cityscape. This situation has put a spotlight on the urgent need for security measures in public libraries, challenging the efficacy of San Francisco’s current strategies in addressing drug-related issues and public safety. #protectionservices #securitystandards #publicsaftey #mobilesecurity #securitythreats https://buff.ly/3QQ15e8

Less than two weeks away at International Code Council Region III Educational Institute, I'll be giving some insights on short-term rentals! In the dynamic world of short-term rentals, code enforcement officers play a pivotal role. Beyond mere regulation, their understanding and strategic enforcement ensure community harmony, safety, and compliance. As these rentals reshape neighborhoods, the challenge isn't just about rules but about adapting our regulatory frameworks to foster growth while protecting community interests. I'll be helping folks understand the world of STRs and the different types of enforcement. 4LEAF, Inc. #ShortTermRentals #CommunitySafety #RegulatoryInnovation #Minneapolis

The Internet's Hype Man 📣 Award winning business leader | News agency Founder | PR and Branding expert
Before social media, newspapers were one of the main outlets for people to share their stories. Before the internet, these outlets were the mainstay for all the weird, wild, and wonderful news you might ever care to read. These days, social media has changed the game, with TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram giving people ample opportunity to share their stories and views. This book, 'There’s Someone in Reception - Adventures in Local Journalism' by Alex Morrison, harks back to the days when people would wander into newspaper and magazine offices, eager to share their stories with journalists. At Jam Press, we still receive amazing stories every day. The world is rich and colourful, and it’s a wonderful thing to be able to share people’s stories. Doing so can have an incredible impact on their lives and on the lives of those who read them—it can be cathartic, help achieve goals, be a vessel for change, and provide a sense of connection and validation. Newspapers and magazines remain incredibly valuable for sharing your story, as their reach and reputation complement the immediacy and accessibility of social media, providing an incredibly impactful way to get your story out there. While social media offers a platform for everyone to broadcast their experiences, the credibility and authority of newspapers and magazines can really enhance the impact and reach of your story, making both mediums super powerful for effective storytelling.

Back when newspapers had high street front offices, they were a magnet for people coming in and telling their stories - the ordinary, the unusual and the downright bizarre. Now Alex Morrison has collected an amazing selection of tales from reporters who were ordered to pop down and see that 'someone in reception' including from yours truly. (My call from reception, in 1991,was "There's a man in reception who says he burnt down county hall and has just been released from Broadmoor . . . "). It's a fascinating book full of stories from many of my old friends and colleagues
