We had a fantastic Back to School Drive with South Dade Toyota of Homestead. 🎒We were thrilled to join The Salvation Army and Toyota Lexus Minority Owners Dealership Association to distribute 100 backpacks filled with school supplies and a $10 Walmart gift card. It was a collective effort that brought smiles and gratitude to everyone who came by. Each backpack, filled with everything needed for the school year, was a testament to our community's support, allowing local students to have the necessary tools for the 2024-2025 school year. #TropicalStormDebby is expected to cause severe flooding in the Big Bend area of Florida in addition to the expected wind damage, power outages, and other issues created by a tropical storm. The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services has begun preparations by staging critical supplies in the Divisional Disaster Warehouse and placing mobile feeding units and an Incident Management Team on standby. With these resources in place, teams will be ready to respond in affected areas as soon as safely able.
