Ramadhan kareem! May peace be up on you all! Find below the constructors' championship standings after the two first races in the 2024 season! Here is a quick analysis for what we have seen so far : Red Bull Racing : They seem dominant at the moment, with Max Verstappen leading the drivers' championship and both Red Bull drivers (Verstappen and Perez) consistently finishing on the podium. Their strong showing aligns with their pre-season testing pace. Ferrari : Despite strong pre-season testing results, Ferrari seems a step behind Red Bull. They've secured the two podium finishes but haven't quite matched Red Bull's overall performance. Mercedes : currently sits in third, but with a much lower point total than expected. This suggests they might be struggling with their car's performance or haven't fully unlocked its potential. It's still early to predict the championship contenders, but Red Bull is certainly looking strong at this point. The next few races will be crucial in understanding how Ferrari and Mercedes can close the gap. Looking ahead : Australian Grand Prix starting from March 22nd, 2024!

Formula 1 picks, odds, race time: 2023 Japanese Grand Prix predictions, F1 best bets from proven model There are only seven races remaining in the 2023 Formula 1 season and the drivers’ championship and constructors’ championship are virtual certainties with Max Verstappen holding a 151-point lead over teammate Sergio Perez and Red Bull holding a whopping 308-point lead over Mercedes. It's looking like it might be a long year in F1 for anyone who isn't a Max fan... While today might have only been the second practice session (third if you count filming days), the feeling in the paddock is that it's going to be another season of dominance for Red Bull. Even though the timing boards were topped by Ferrari today, everyone knows that lap times mean little, and it's in the paddock where you'll find the best indication of who's doing well (think of Aston Martin last year). Even as a Mercedes fan, you have no choice but to take your hat off and admire the job that Red Bull has done. To take a car which was so dominant, and seemed surely to have reached the theoretical limit of how good this generation of cars can be, and find an extra second (compared to last year's testing) is absolutely ludicrous. Trying to spot chinks in Red Bull's dominance might seem futile, but there are a few things that might be cause for hope. Mercedes seems to have finally got their car working mechanically, which means they can finally work on aerodynamic performance in earnest, while Ferrari seems to have got the rear of their car under control. It might not be enough for consistently competitive races in 2024, but just maybe for 2025. One can hope! #Formula1 #RedBull #Mercedes #Ferrari #F1Testing

Race Recap 4.5 /24: #ChineseGP - China's first Sprint Race weekend of 2024 was a rollercoaster! Qualifying was a season highlight with championship contenders Verstappen and Leclerc going off track, Hamilton initially on pole, Norris snatching it away twice, and ultimately claiming the top spot. This drama perfectly set the stage for an equally thrilling Sprint Race. Sprint Race Highlights: ⭐Hamilton vs. Norris: Turn 1? More like Turn-around for Norris as Lewis bullies him off track. Alonso capitalizes, briefly becoming the "almost champion." ⭐Max's Battery Blues: Verstappen's car went flatter than a day-old pancake, struggling to keep up with a feisty Alonso. ⭐Alonso's Puncture: Just when the Spaniard was giving another Spaniard a run for his money, a late-race puncture ended his charge. ️ ⭐Scuderia Ferrari Feud: Sainz and Leclerc went from teammates to torpedoes, almost taking each other out in a display of on-track rage. ⭐Verstappen Cruises to Victory: Max showed why he's the champion, leaving Hamilton in the dust with a 12.6-second lead. Bonus: Ricciardo even managed to outqualify his teammate Yuki! Looks like things are finally looking up for the Honey Badger. ⬆️ you know the drill by now, but if YOU are new here:- →Reply below with your funniest one-liner summarizing the Suzuka Grand Prix. →Let's keep it short, sweet, and side-splittingly funny! →The more creative, the better! ️ 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞: **𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭: 𝐀 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐱'𝐬 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐲. 🥟 ** With such a dramatic Sprint Race serving as the appetizer, the stage is set for an exciting Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday. Red Bull 2024 F1 car revealed with Mercedes-inspired design https://ift.tt/LyODVGS Red Bull has revealed its 2024 F1 challenger – the RB20. 2023 was a record-breaking season for the team, with the RB19 winning 21 out of 22 races. But rather than sticking to that same formula, Red Bull has opted for a design approach that Team Principal Christian Horner admits is “quite aggressive in certain areas”. Red Bull opts for Mercedes-inspired sidepod layout F1 pre-season test on February 21-23 Red Bull RB20: what’s new Interestingly, the RB20 appears to take inspiration from Mercedes’ 2023 design direction – one that the Silver Arrows has since abandoned. The car now features heavily undercut sidepods with a vertical radiator inlet. It also features big W14-style shoulders on the engine cover. “It’s an evolution of last year’s car. But it’s not conservative and you can see they’ve [the team] been quite aggressive in certain areas,” said Horner. “You can see all the men and women behind the scenes have been working very hard and some of the detail on the car is absolutely exquisite.” Of course, Red Bull is still playing its cards close to its chest, with only limited angles of the RB20 shown. Even the launch car present physically at the event sported a few changes compared to the renders released online, including the presence of sidepod inlets. It is entirely possible that the RB20 will look very different at the Bahrain pre-season test next week. “You have to keep pushing. We’ve made some improvements to the car in all areas – mechanical, vehicle dynamics and aerodynamics. Is that enough? Who knows, we shall have to see,” said chief technical officer Adrian Newey. Red Bull 2024 F1 drivers Red Bull sticks with its tried-and-tested pairing of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez this year. Verstappen, of course, will be chasing his fourth straight F1 title. “For me, at the moment, it’s more about just looking forward to Bahrain, get testing, get comfortable with the car, understand what it needs and just work from there. It’s such a long season; we just try to hit the ground running as good as we can,” said Verstappen. F1 pre-season testing gets underway in Bahrain on February 21-23 before the season kicks off at the same venue on February 29-March 2. Formula 1 had a great weekend. Lando Norris won his first race ever. Max Verstapen came in second place. I wondered why (considering how dominate Verstappen has been recently), so I looked at the data. Norris' car handled better. He was getting into corners quicker especially in the twisty part of the track. This resulted in lap times that were a few milliseconds faster. In particular, Sector 1 which has a lot of turns. Verstappen was just as fast in a straight line (and even had higher top speeds in some areas), but he had a hard time turning the car. "It's a disaster!" was the radio comm to his pit crew. Data only gets you so far. At some point, you have to turn that data into decisions. Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology has some work to do to match McLaren Racing. McLaren has done a bunch of upgrades which were very effective. Over the next 3 or 4 races, we'll see if McLaren has indeed passed Red Bull or if this was just a lucky break. I dug a little deeper. Red Bull had a problem with the 'hard' set of tires. Red Bull was outperforming McLaren on the 'medium's, but now McLaren was faster. 0.100 seconds * 30 laps is 3 seconds. 100ms is the blink of an eye. That's all it takes - 100 milliseconds over 100 seconds of racing (a lap). 0.1%. If you can improve by just 0.1%, you can win. If you decline by 0.1%, you get left behind. That's the difference that McLaren made. And it made all the difference. Get just a little better every day. McLaren is a great example of this. Kudos to Zak Brown for the incredible results, and Norris for the great drive over the last 30 laps. #improve #f1

I would love to see Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology recreate this vintage Porsche AG ad. (I mocked up my take in the comments) A legendary season for Red Bull and Max Verstappen. Check out every record Max Verstappen broke in 2023: - Highest percentage of wins in a season - Most wins in a season - Most points in a season - Most consecutive wins - Most podiums in a season - Most laps led in a season - Highest percentage of laps led in a season - Most consecutive wins from pole - Most wins from pole in a season - Biggest points gap between 1st and 2nd in standings - Most consecutive races as championship leader - Most consecutive points scored - Most consecutive top two finishes - Most hat-tricks in a season - Most pitstops by the winning driver in one race - Only driver to win 3 times in 1 country 19 wins. 21 podiums. Over 1000 laps led. The most dominant season in Formula 1's history. -- Enjoy my content? I'm Vincenzo, and I talk innovation, marketing and content creation. Oh, and a lot of sports business. This post is special. I am going to write on Formula 1 with VAVEL.com! My first piece is the review of the Canadian GP. The race was quite interesting as it involved elements of drama, controversy, the adrenaline rush, the thrill of speed and everything a motorsport fan would want in a race. Best part is, unlike last year, this year Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology driver Max Verstappen had to fight it out with Lando Norris and George Russell to keep his throne! Although there were pitfalls in McLaren Racing's strategy, I am still quite happy that Lando got his much deserves podium. However there is trouble in paradise for Sergio Perez. I think Horner needs to reconsider his contract. I feel Perez should take the back seat for a while. Scuderia Ferrari had a tough weekend. A double DNF. This would be a weekend they would want to forget. This is the article in a nutshell... if you want to know more about MoneyGram Haas F1 Team's bold strategy that bought their drivers minutes of fame in the beginning of the race, check out my article. The article is included in the comments! P.S: This is my attempt to create my brand from what I learned from my dream company Kurogo! #formula1 #f1 #canadiangp #redbull #mercedes #haas #ferrari #mclaren #motorsports #personalbranding #kurogo
