Hoffmann Brothers has grown rapidly here in Nashville. It’s exciting, but the growth brings challenges. One example is a recent drop in the number of customers signing up for our Home Protection Plan, an annual subscription that takes care of all a home’s major systems. Joe Hoffmann posted recently about how valuable the HPP is to our customers and how important it is to our company. I see this decline as a new problem directly caused by our team’s success. Because we’ve grown fast, we’ve been able to promote a few of our field professionals who had been leading the way on HPP signups. But we haven't prepared our new field pros to provide that same level of exceptional service. Without the training, our newer team members might not understand: - the value the HPP provides to our customers - how best to explain the HPP during home visits - the importance of the HPP to our business. Rapid growth is only a good thing so long as we’re able to do it in a sustainable way while providing the exceptional service that makes our customers so loyal. That’s what we’re going to keep doing here. But it's always a learning process, isn't it?
