📚 My Next Book! 🌟 "Beyond Culture: A Treatise on New Film Criticism" 🔍 About the Book: After my journey through various film critiques and explorations in works like "A Skeleton Key To Twin Peaks," "Ey Up! This book is a deep dive into a new way of appreciating and analyzing films, focusing on a balance between technique and narrative, without overemphasizing the role of the director. ✨ Unique Perspectives: In this book, I unfold my distinct approach to film criticism, advocating for a shift from idolizing creators to a more nuanced understanding of art's technique and narrative meaning. The journey culminates in a bold conclusion, questioning our perceptions of art and life beyond the conventional reverence for culture and self. 📅 Availability: Get ready to explore these new horizons in film criticism with the eBook, set to release in early 2024! --- Stay tuned for more updates and insights into the world of new film criticism. Steven Spielberg was a fearful kid who found solace in reading & storytelling! Spielberg has directed over 30 movies, including “Jaws,” “E.T.,” “Close Encounters Of The Third Kind,” the “Indiana Jones” films, “The Color Purple,” “Jurassic Park,” “Schindler’s List,” “Saving Private Ryan,” “Lincoln,” and the recent adaptation of “West Side Story.” His movies have grossed more at the box office than any filmmaker. Steven Spielberg says, “Only a generation of readers will span a generation of writers. Reading broadens the thinking-horizon of a person, improves vocabulary and cultivates a sensitivity towards people of different cultures. Reading encourages the muscles of the brain into a healthy condition, expands the imagination, and the concentration which results in the ability to look at the problem objectively and therefore gain the ability to make better decisions. Reading biographies of individuals help the reader to learn the art of living and avoiding sometimes costly pitfalls. Also, it’s important to remain hopeful. It’s that thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us if we have the courage to reach for it, to work for it, and to fight discouragement for it. TEXT CARE ASSISTANCE ® writing, editing, and translating texts 🗨Co-Founder at Virtual Language Laboratory
Readers are supposed to buy entertainment fiction most often, so this is the genre that sells best in almost all languages. Stories with a linear plot are the most readable. Without it, readers socialised to movies will get information about the time period under the chapter title. Two years earlier. One year later. If there are at least two sub-plots, there can be a complete mess, you have to turn back the page. Hemingway solved this in the text. #Hemingway #time #writingtexts

🌟🎄 Looking for a good read that's not business-related? Look no further than "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" by Charlie Mackesy. This book is a must-read, packed with life wisdom in an easy-to-understand and light story. The book offers a lot to think about and is one of the best reads from past years that I can highly recommend. Plus, BBC created an animated film that you can watch here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dVGMTkgM. Have you read this book yet?
