𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 ⁉️ We are very grateful to have been invited to the panel at Maschinenraum Momentum in Berlin. 🧡 Florian Heinemann (Project A Ventures), Malte Brettel (RWTH Aachen University) and Benjamin Junghans (STIHL) discussed the pros and cons of their different experiences under the kind moderation of Anne Decker. There were also many interesting questions and contributions from the audience. Key takeaways 📝 ➡ Broad consensus on high impact and high efficiency of corporate venture capital investments and venture clienting.  ➡ Venture capital funds seem to increase their efforts to introduce their portfolio start-ups to companies in order to attract them as clients ➡ Very few success stories for corporate venture building due to high requirements in terms of autonomy, entrepreneurial excellence, drive and capital ➡ Some companies use corporate venture building more as a learning and HR tool for change than for direct economic impact ➡ Universities are getting better at teaching and incentivising students to start businesses.
