5% to Charity I care about what you care about, and I'm putting my money where your heart is! I'm donating 5% of every commission to each client's favorite charity. Showcasing Ariel and James's Choice - PAWS Ariel and James and I have many mutual friends through my partner's work. We've vacationed together and they've talked about buying a home for a while. We set up exploration for about a year and they checked out many areas and types of homes. They were finally ready to buy a few months ago and we started touring. We found a great house in Monroe which they love! When I asked them which charity they would like me support they chose PAWS, a non-profit charity located in Snohomish County. PAWS is people helping cats, dogs and wild animals go home and thrive – whether home is the family room or the forest. They do this by rehabilitating orphaned and injured wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating the community to inspire compassionate action for animals. Calling all dog lovers in the UK...... Do you have a pacemaker fitted? Did you know that if you have a pacemaker, you can include it in your Will to be donated to a dog in need after you pass away? Although pacemakers cannot be used for another human, they can help dogs with heart problems and potentially save their lives. You can arrange for the pacemaker to be sent to a vet of your choice. Many pacemakers are simply thrown away, and dogs may die because people do not know about this option. Donating the pacemaker can even save the dog's owner the cost of a new one, which can sometimes make a crucial difference in affording life-saving treatment If you have a pacemaker fitted and are being cremated but would like to donate your pacemaker to a vet to save the life of a dog after you have gone, then just contact your local vet and confirm that they would be able to use it and then instruct your Will drafter to write that specific legacy within your Will which will ensure that your executor(s) can make the appropriate arrangements with the crematorium and the vet you have nominated when the time comes.
