A true „one size fits all” solution. At sea and on land. Fixed or mobile. It’s up to you. Choose wisely. Chose Saab.

The true facilitator both on land and at sea, that being both onboard vessels and on offshore installations. One of the few 3D radars without the need for external cooling. https://lnkd.in/g5e8YeWp Expected this to be the case, as the Type 26 is too high-end and costly for the RNZN - whether built by the Brits or Aussies - who like to take a perfectly good design and change everything, build it locally and pay more for it. Build options here for the Kiwis include a purely British build and fit-out, or utilising the Polish programme (e.g. build there, fit-out in UK), to keep build costs down to up-spec some of the weapon systems. Tagging onto current build programmes, the Kiwis could get a reasonable good deal. Numbers will be interesting. Considering the evolving threats in the world, will it be 1 or 2-for-1, and the return of a frigate squadron? Weapon systems wise; I would utilise the designs capacity for a 32 cell VLS with quad-packed recycled Sea Ceptors with the original Danish 76/35mm gun combos in A, B and hanger positions, and if money was available fit NSM and ASROC.
