I think hybrid studies can bring a lot of value and solve a lot of solutions for the sponsor while making the trial more patient-centric. Case example, a pivotal study design needed a way to ensure device training was done with a youth in a controlled way, but every other aspect of the trial made sense for DCT. The solution, Visit 1 was in-person and all other aspects of the trial and future visits were not, making things easier for the parents and youths enrolled and saving time and resources ($).
