A FAREWELL TO VIROLOGY "Virology invented the virus model but has consistently failed to fulfil its own requirements. It is claimed that viruses cause disease after transmitting between hosts such as humans and yet the scientific evidence for these claims is missing. One of virology’s greatest failures has been the inability to obtain any viral particles directly from the tissues of organisms said to have 'viral' diseases. In order to obfuscate this state of affairs, virologists have resorted to creating their own pseudoscientific methods to replace the longstanding scientific method, as well as changing the dictionary meaning of words in order to support their anti-scientific practices. For instance, an 'isolated' isolate does not require the physical existence of the particles in order to be afforded 'isolation' status." https://lnkd.in/d5dkQMbV

Mechanism of antiviral defense by prokaryotic Gabija complex Gabija antiviral defense system comprises two predicted genes, GajA and GajB. The researchers reveal the molecular mechanism of the widespread Gabija prokaryotic immune system, in which the synergy between GajA, an NTP-sensing DNA nickase, and GajB, a DNA-terminus dependent (d)A/(d)GTPase, causes a cascade suicide effect to mediate defense against virulent viruses. On World Tuberculosis Day, we look at chest X-rays. If you were asked what you would see in an X-ray image, odds are you would say bones. And it’s true – X-ray imaging is very good at looking at your bones. But interestingly, the most frequently performed X-ray exam is a chest X-ray. This exam may be ordered to look for rib fractures or other problems with bones in the chest, but it’s also frequently requested to look at the lungs and heart.
