Below is the basic workflow of a Tube Cartoner: Supplying Products: First, products are conveyed from the production line to the supply area of the Tube Cartoner. These products can be a variety of different types of items, such as bottles, cans, bags, etc. Positioning and Sequencing: In the supply area, sensors or vision systems detect the position and orientation of the products. The machine will position and sort the products as needed to properly place them in the box. Open Box: Once there are products ready to be boxed, the tube cartoner removes an empty box from a storage area. This usually involves opening the lid of the box in preparation for filling. Load Product: The product is moved precisely into the opened box. This may involve the use of robotic arms, conveyor belts or other devices to ensure that the product is correctly placed inside the box. Calibration and Adjustment: Some tube cartoners have automatic calibration and adjustment features to ensure that the product is placed accurately in the box and to avoid blockages or errors. Folding and Sealing: Once the product is correctly placed in the box, the machine closes the lid and may perform folding and sealing operations to ensure the box is tightly closed. DISCHARGE FINISHED PRODUCTS: Finished boxes are discharged from the exit area of the tube cartoner. These boxes now contain the correct quantity and type of product. Repeat Cycle: The Tube Cartoner performs these steps continuously, cartoning different types of products as needed. It can run automatically at high speeds, thus increasing productivity.
