The company's co-founder and CEO, Greg Solano, announced the changes, aiming to realign Yuga Labs with its original vision and operational scale to remain an innovative player in the dynamic digital asset market. Despite achieving a staggering $4 billion valuation in March 2022 with a successful $450 million fundraising, the company has been facing market shifts, including a decline in #ApeCoin value and a general downturn in the #NFT market. The goal? To refocus the team on core projects, streamline operations and shed unwieldy structures, thereby enabling a renewed focus on initiatives aligned with the company's primary vision.
