Right now, Lindabs production facility in Haderslev, Denmark, is producing no less than 250 pieces of large ducts for the wind turbine manufacturer Siemens. They are to be installed in paint booths at one of their UK locations. How large you might wonder? We are talking about 240 x 240 cm ducts, big enough to easily fit five full-grown Lindab employees inside. Building such large ducts is difficult work which requires 2-3 employees per channel, or else it gets too hard on both necks and arms. Flexible solar panels are also known as thin film solar cells that come from a second generation solar cells, which are created by layering more than one thin film of photovoltaic material on a base made of metal, glass, or plastic. The product produced from this process is much thinner than the average monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar panels. Energy plays a significant role in the development of industries and provides comfortable living environment to the people as it is the measurement unit to conform the development of civilization. The rapid surge in innovation and up-gradation of most of the fuel driven devices to electronic power have increased the demand for power from clean energy resources. In order to tap gigantic solar roof potential of the European region, the European Union initiated “green deal” programme to reach its carbon emission targets by 2050. India has one of the largest building integrated vertical solar PV systems at a data center in Mumbai with a capacity of about 1MW, covering over 5000 square feet of facade area. Design of a pilot demonstration device version 10.0 of a hydro-generating plant according to the V.O.D.A project The V.O.D.A project team is actively developing the project, creating pilot and demonstration samples of a hydro-generating plant being developed within the framework of the V.O.D.A project. Due to the technical complexity of the hydro-generating plant, in order to achieve optimal and effective performance of its work on power generation, design of the mobile module and generating devices, work is underway to model the design of a new pilot demonstration sample of the hydro-generating plant as a whole and its main elements. In mid-May 2024, the design of the pilot device version 10.0 of the hydrogenating plant, which has some differences from the previous version 9.0, was actually completed by 90%. In November 2023, a pilot demonstration sample of version 9.0 of the hydro-generating plant was successfully presented at the 25th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), which was held in a traditional format at the Dubai World Trade Center (Dubai International Convention & Exhibition). In version 10.0 of the pilot sample of the hydro-generating plant, it is planned to use innovative technical solutions for the design of the mobile module, it is proposed to improve the design, profile and channels of the piston, electric generating elements, which should ensure an increase in the efficiency of the entire sample. Presumably, the design of a prototype hydro-generating unit version 10.0 will be completed in the summer of 2024, followed by its manufacture for the purpose of conducting research and development work (R&D), as well as to demonstrate the installation to interested parties and at various public events. For interested persons who want to get acquainted with the process of the work being carried out, the discussion of the design and construction of the pilot device version 10.0 of the hydro-generating plant, a video material is offered, posted at the link: https://lnkd.in/emNU7Nud You can read this and other articles of project on our website or in our telegram news channel. In 2023 the Alca Group has invested over 52 million CZK in photovoltaics and gained a power plant with a capacity of 2.2 MW. This step allows us to completely cover the energy requirements of our production under ideal conditions. We have built: 👇 🔹 5000 photovoltaic panels in the Alca Břeclav area 🔹 1 MW from the photovoltaic power plant at the FV-Plast Čelákovice plant 🔹 600 kW from cogeneration units And why did we do it? ⚡ We want to be energy self-sufficient and thus ensure a stable and sustainable source of energy for our production. 🌿 The goal is to reduce our ecological footprint and thus contribute to environmental protection. 🔧 We regularly invest in modern technologies that make our production more efficient. Thanks to everyone who participated in this project! Together we create a more sustainable future. 🌍 #AlcaGroup #RenewableResources #Photovoltaics #Sustainability #Energy #Innovation #Ecology #Industry
