In Asia-Pacific (APAC), clinical outcomes for cancer shows an estimated mortality-to-incidence ratio (MIR) of 0.52, which is comparatively higher than the ratio of 0.32 observed in the West. APAC continues to face a growing burden of cancer, imposing clinical, societal, and economic burden. However, there is promising news with the emergence of a new innovative technology, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), which seems pivotal in addressing the cancer burden in APAC. However, through the collective expertise and resources brought together by HIPO, researchers are gaining insights into early responses to chemotherapy. By leveraging cutting-edge imaging technology and interdisciplinary collaboration, they aim to tailor treatments faster and more effectively to each patient's unique needs.
