Audio suite in pro tools should be a secondary option. Not the first. This is a work flow issue. I’ll explain. If I am doing sound design or noise reduction on a specific track and I want to render a setting after I make an adjustment I have to go to audio suite copy or save the settings from the insert then go to the audio suite plugin that I just opened and either paste it or click on the saved setting. It becomes a pain in the ass when you have two or more screens and you do this. Even if you have the insert plugin and audio suite plugin on one screen that’s already eating up screen real estate. So why not just have a render option directly from the insert? Audio suite is not a good workflow. Maybe for tape speed and reverse is fine. But not for all plugins.
