We're only days away from Enlit Europe. 8️⃣ days, in fact. So, we wanted to highlight eight projects we're excited about seeing and learning from at Enlit Europe. AGISTIN (Horizon Europe project): enabling industrial grid users to rapidly decarbonise through advanced integration of innovative energy storage technologies at the interface with the grid. ebalanceplus: aims to increase the energy flexibility of distribution grids. ENCHANT: aims to support the energy transition by testing the impact of interventions affecting energy consumption behaviour on a large-scale across Europe. FLOW Project: boosts and demonstrates multifaceted EV smart charging and V2X integration into energy systems thanks to a range of comprehensive solutions providing answers to projhe OPENTUNITY project: taking the first bold step towards opening the electricity ecosystem to multiple actors, creating a genuine opportunity for decarbonization. RENergetic Project: an EC-funded project, aims to demonstrate the viability of so-called urban energy islands. TradeRES: develop and test innovative electricity market designs that can meet society’s needs for a ~100% renewable power system. ZHENIT Project: aims to develop a strategy to face the need to decarbonize the maritime transportation by using innovative waste heat recovery technologies, to be exploited onboard to reduce pollutants emissions also in hoteling/harbour conditions. Earth Day 2024: Stadler’s contribution for environmental protection   To preserve the environment for future generations, we are constantly reviewing how we can make our entire value chain more efficient in terms of resources, by placing the highest demands on ourselves as a company in order to promote a greener future through our products.   We also endeavour to use natural resources to produce and promote renewable energy and reduce the use of fossil fuels. ☀ 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 ☀   This special day for our mother star, the sun, has already been celebrated since 1987. In many countries it marks the beginning of the so-called Week of the Sun, which is supposed to provide information about the possibilities for energy supply through renewable energies such as solar power. On this special date, let’s highlight the importance of solar energy for green hydrogen. After all, the sun is an unlimited source of energy that we can use to shape a sustainable future. Solar energy plays a key role in producing green hydrogen. By the use of solar power, water can be split to produce green hydrogen. This in turn can serve as an environmentally friendly fuel with a wide range of applications, e.g., in mobility or industry. Celebrating the energy of the sun is also a good opportunity to remember to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and move towards a cleaner and greener future for our planet. 🌍 #hydrogenisnow #worldsunday #hydrogen #cleanenergy
