Daring to be different and the accident of aesthetics. I have tried to right this a few times and found that it wasn’t clicking, linking in a little anecdote about neurodivergence, homogeny, and the benefits of thinking or doing things differently. The guitar picks I have designed do things differently. Guitar picks don't have to be flat, despite what convention would have you believe. Because they are different, they are creating a whole new dimension of possibility for the people who use them. I designed them to feel and to play exceptionally, I didn’t realise until I started to document them for sale that they were also incredibly pleasing mini sculptural forms.
