How do we really support someone struggling with mental health challenges 1 show up regularly with texts, calls and face to face catch ups. 2 you don’t need all the answers they have the answers 3 Don’t have any expectations. 4 be curious - when you ask are you ok and they say “I’m fine” lean into sharing what you are seeing that makes you think something is not fine. 5 say “tell me more? 6 allow silence!! 7 don’t be judgemental!! This is how we can support people we love who are struggling.
