CEO at Free Flow Wines

" cork taint is one of several flaws that can crop up in wine .... it’s just unpleasant. The flavors and aromas of corked wine will be at best muted and at worst obscured by those wet newspaper, cardboard, or dirty sock notes ... Cork taint affects just 5 or 7% of wine globally". Better for a restaurant to pour wines-by-the glass from kegs. Wine inside a keg is kept cool, dark and safe from oxygen transfer and away from dirty corks. Restaurants and Wineries are improving the quality of wine pours, increasing margins on wine, reducing liquid waste, and reducing carbon emissions with wine-on-tap from stainless steel kegs - a package that is reusable for decades. Steel kegs are the only true re-usable package for the wine industry. Free Flow is happy to have helped supply premium wines in reusable stainless steel kegs for the past twelve years. Reusable packaging is better for the environment and reduces reliance on new packaging supply chains. #Wineontap #sustainability #reusable #packaging #recycle #ecofriendly #circulareconomy #environmental #sustainable  #reuse #refill #refillable #ecospirits #closedloop #freeflowwines https://lnkd.in/eUEXT5aD
