📢Great news from Italy 🎉🎉 👏RIC Energy has won a Feed-in tariff auction in Italy, managed by the GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici), securing an incentivized tariff for its first projects in the country. 🚀Specifically, four solar plants developed by RIC Energy in the Lazio region have won the fourteenth FER auction (Fonti Energetiche Rinnovabili) , ensuring a guaranteed energy sale price for the next 20 years. ☀️ These plants are part of RIC Energy's first projects in Italy, following the announcement a year ago of the acquisition of 10 MW in Lazio, a transaction financed by Santander through a Green Investment Policy by Cesce (Compañía Española de Seguros de Crédito a la Exportación). 🔉Giuseppe Fusco, country manager of RIC Energy in Italy, highlighted that securing an incentivized tariff for these projects facilitates their bankability and will boost our growth in the country. It is also a sign of the strong capabilities that RIC Energy is developing in the country. 🌍Luis Moya Ruiz, Head of International Business Development at RIC Energy, believes this achievement marks a major step in the implementation of the company’s Business Plan, solidifying RIC as a selective IPP focused on operating strategic assets in regions that ensure stable income and attractive, sustainable returns over the long term. 👉Here, some links about the news. https://lnkd.in/dMZwfigU https://lnkd.in/dj8CeYJV https://lnkd.in/dNKh9FNh https://lnkd.in/duAcmvqr

Moving forward on our plan to deploy a 1.7 GW portfolio in Southern Europe! We are pleased to share that we are finishing construction of a 36MW solar PV plant in Moratalla, Murcia. This is BNZ's fourth plant to soon enter operation in Spain, where it expects to install a capacity of approximately 600 MWp by 2026. We foresee that the solar plants will start generating energy by April 2024 and will avoid the emission of 19.000 tons of CO2 equivalent per year, creating 60 direct and indirect jobs by 2024. We continue to make strides towards realising our ambition to decarbonise and contribute to the energy transition, meeting the highest environmental and sustainability criteria, while also guaranteeing the highest compliance with Grupotec. Many thanks to Murcia Plaza and Francisco Valero Pertegal for the opportunity to share our vision and project: https://lnkd.in/dvDu8uXY #sustainability #climatechange #renewableenergy #bnzenergy #energiarenovable #pv #energy #solar #beyondnetzero #bnz

LatAm's Renewable Energy Potential: What's Holding It Back? Latin America possesses all the ingredients to become a global leader in renewable energy: abundant natural resources, diversified energy sources, an emphasis on clean energy, a robust market, and political stability. However, there are regulatory challenges, social upheavals, and a lack of political will that threaten to impede the region's renewable energy aspirations. With more significant demand for energy in the region, Latin America is becoming a solid investment hub for renewable energy. As economies grow, the need for clean energy sources becomes even more crucial. Public-private partnerships are common, facilitating renewable energy project funding. A report by Global Energy Monitor suggests that Latin America could increase its solar and wind energy capacity by more than 460% by 2030, achieving regional net-zero renewable energy goals set by the International Energy Agency (IEA). The top five countries in terms of potential solar and wind energy capacity additions are Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. These nations represent approximately 84% of the existing large-scale solar and wind parks operating in the region. In total, Latin America and the Caribbean generate 60% of their electricity from green sources. The region has also attracted significant foreign investment in the renewable energy sector, ranking third in terms of the investment amount. Among the countries leading in this sector are Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Panama, and Peru. Investors and developers typically consider three main aspects before venturing into renewable energy projects: a responsible macroeconomic history, a comprehensive legal framework for renewable energy, and pressing energy generation needs that translate into attractive investment opportunities. Panama and Colombia are emerging as promising markets in this regard, both striving to diversify their energy mix to mitigate the effects of climate change and reduce their dependence on fossil fuels. However, there are still significant challenges facing Latin America's renewable energy journey. Financing infrastructure is a critical issue, as many countries in the region need funding to expand and improve their electrical grids. Regulations and changing policies can also pose uncertainties for investors. In light of the complexities involved, the big question is, how can Latin America overcome these obstacles to attract more investments in renewable energies? Which of the recommended actions, such as stable policies, clear legal frameworks, strengthened institutions, and infrastructure upgrades, do you believe are most essential for Latin American countries to ensure a successful transition to renewable energy? #renewablelatam #cleanenergyrevolution #sustainablefuturelatam https://lnkd.in/gjTx7Kjv

Impressive amount of solar Watts [W] that feeds our energy matrix! 🇨🇴 How to protect and maintain this great investment? 💎 Big areas like these, exposed to losing their generating capacity due to the arid conditions of the terrain, dirtying the solar panels. Which turns into very large economic losses, since it directly affects the return on investment📉. How much does it cost to avoid it? Our company has dedicated resources, research and more than 3 years to build a technological solution that today contributes to this purpose to companies Who enjoy peace of mind by trusting us. (like CELSIA, VENTUS and ATLANTICA.) We develop, adapt and operate technology in Colombia and the United States. We improve every day thanks to the trust our clients have given us. We hope to continue impacting and contributing to this energy transition. 🦾⚡ Visit us: https://lnkd.in/enK828QA #solar #solarenergy #solarpower #solarpanels #renewableenergy #energy #cleansolar #solarsystem #energiasolar #solarpanel #sun #energia #sustainability #renewables #solarpv #solarpowered #photovoltaic
