Property management agencies have a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their communities. By partnering with key charities, they can support efforts to improve neighbourhoods and address specific needs within society. At Someday Property, for every lease property signed, we donate a warm blanket and pillow to children living in poverty around the globe via Child Fund Australia. At The Property Collective, we plant a tree for every property sold or leased through One Tree Planted. Whether you're looking to contribute to an important cause or donate time and effort to assist with local education or feeding programs, these partnerships can lead to lasting positive change. What are some creative community initiatives you're doing at your agency?

Great article here from Thomas Hubert on how and why the procurement policy for #HousingFirst in Ireland requires change to better support the provision of services to help people experiencing - or at risk of - homelessness.
Beyond immediate shelter, more and more people need complex assistance to escape entrenched homelessness. Price competition between charities has pushed the sector to the brink, but procurement policy is now changing.

Slovenia recently faced its worst natural disaster to date - floods and landslides that left 500 families without a home and damaged public infrastructure, impacting 2/3 of the country. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to volunteer and witness firsthand the resilience and solidarity of the Slovenian people. Despite the devastation, empathy and hope prevailed, as volunteers from different parts of the country came together to support those in need. As part of Dell's commitment to giving back, the local team in Slovenia has initiated a donation drive to support families affected by the floods. Dell will also match all internally raised funds to increase the final donation. You can donate through the following link: https://lnkd.in/ew7B6ytf. The link internally for Dell employees: https://lnkd.in/eqZqSVuc Let's continue to stand in solidarity with those impacted by the floods and support the recovery efforts. #work4Dell #volunteering #donations #Sloveniafloods

Imagine businesses without voices and charities unheard. Communication is their megaphone For businesses, it builds trust, ignites teams, and fuels growth. For charities, it empowers volunteers, rallies donors, and amplifies impact. Clear messaging, whether through campaigns or impact stories, bridges the gap between intention and action. Let's prioritize communication to empower both profit and good deeds! #communicationskills #makeadifference #communicationmatters #communicationskills #nonprofitcommunication #businesscommunication #storytelling United Nations Serco International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC Amnesty International World Humanity Commission Oxfam

Great panel focusing on purpose and impact of having wealth which after all is a key question given that you can’t take it with you.
How can you give charity and do so more effectively? Philanthropy advisers reflect on the question at Spear's 500 Live in a panel titled 'Philanthropy: can you master the art of giving?' in association with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) and Stewardship. Panellists include Nicola Johnson of Stewardship, Joe Crome, CAP® of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), George King IV of MASECO Private Wealth and Nepheli Rigas of UK for UNHCR
