When #networking, please AVOID doing this... In a world full of templates and automation, there's something magical about crafting a message that's as unique as the person you're connecting with. Here's why ditching those cookie-cutter templates can make all the difference: 💡 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂: When you send a message that's uniquely crafted, you're showing your authentic self. It's like offering a glimpse into your thoughts and passions, making the connection feel more genuine from the get-go. 💡 𝗨𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀: Personalized messages give you the chance to weave in shared interests and experiences. It's an instant conversation starter. 💡 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 "𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁": Ever get those generic connection requests that feel too templatized?Standing out means stepping away from the template and adding a sprinkle of your personality. It's like a digital handshake that speaks volumes. --> Learn how to network that actually works here: https://lnkd.in/gv8B-VyW Happy Friyayyy!! *** 🔔 If you found this helpful, you would love my other work/life content - be sure to follow AJ Eckstein and re-post this to share with your network! Perspective -- It Matters. Take a look at this email Steve Jobs sent himself back in 2010. Who will benefit from the things you image, create, explore or discover? To grasp this - think about what others before you did to make a way for you today. When you click that remote. When you open up that refrig. When you turn that key. When you adjust that temp.... The things we use, put a smile on someone before you who made it happen. Each of us, were served by others before us. Imagine the impact we can make in our service in return.

The lid on Pandora’s box has been left open. The whole ‘Working from Home’ (WFH), ‘Hybrid’, or ‘Back into the office’ or ‘Employee choice has created a full gambit of possibilities. While some roles have to be done in a specific place, such as Hospitality, Retail others have lost the historical shackles they once had that everyone must be in the office 9-5. But the WFH may work for some others want Hybrid and the younger element want 100% office based as it provides a social element for them. A recent post a friend did shows the change happening As we adapt to the changing work landscape, what do you think is the most effective work arrangement for productivity? As we adapt to the changing work landscape, what do you think is the most effective work arrangement for productivity? Full time in office 11% Full time Remote 13% Hybrid 58% Flexible (Employee chooses) 18% Manoj Chawla - https://lnkd.in/eAzEcJWv Sales people have often been in a WFH situation long before the pandemic or lockdown and this along with some other roles will not change. So, whether it’s the ‘lid on Pandora’s box has actually been left open’ or ‘the genie is out of the bottle’ employers moving forward will have to be far more flexible in the choices they provide to employees. Its more likely to be the ‘Flexible (Employee chooses)’ and therefore employers will have to offer different solutions for different roles in the organisation, moving forward. It may also change over time as people’s circumstances change over time and their needs change. Employers are going to have to be more flexible. That in turn opens up other subjects such as ‘Outcome based contracts’ a completely different subject for another day. Comments below #WFH #talant #Salespeople #knowledgesharing

Is hybrid working ok in your company? A very good question. This article gives you some simple ways to check this. I would add one recommendation to this article: If you are a remote employee, you should keep your video on in video meetings, at least when you speak or in 1-2-1 calls. It makes a huge difference in how others will get to know you.
