#Forests4Future implements drone-based forest landscape restoration #FLR monitoring in Ivory Coast. Remote Sensing Solutions GmbH, in joint venture with DFS Deutsche Forstservice GmbH, develop a digital monitoring platform #dMRV for the F4F Programme which is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Benin, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Madagascar & Togo. The “Digital Triple Level Monitoring Dashboard” is an IT solution for FLR management that integrates three levels of information to monitor #restoration impact, via 1) in-field collected data, 2) drone-based analytics and 3) #EarthObservation. In order to standardise field- and drone data acquisition across all partner countries, RSS & DFS are currently providing training and in-field workshops together with #MINEF (Ministère des Eaux et Forêts) and Agricultural Cooperatives in Ivory Coast.
