Regional Growth Partnership’s Post

Ground has officially broken on Louis Dreyfus Company's new soybean processing plant in Upper Sandusky, which will create over 100 jobs. This $500 million cutting-edge facility in Wyandot County reinforces Ohio's leadership in the agricultural sector. Ohio, home to about 26,000 soybean farmers, will benefit from this state-of-the-art plant with integrated crushing, oil refining, and lecithin production. The partnership between JobsOhio, Wyandot County Office of Economic Development, and Upper Sandusky facilitated this development, highlighting the region’s strong manufacturing and agricultural capabilities.
