I'm a soul archaeologist helping individuals & organizations achieve transformative growth and sustainability by integrating green economy, soulful coaching, neuroscience insights, and empathy. President at gaea21.
Just watched an incredible TED Talk that emphasizes the profound benefits of regular exercise on our mental and cognitive health. As a soul and transformational coach, I am always advocating for holistic well-being, and this talk reinforces that true transformation begins with nurturing our body, mind, and soul. Key takeaways: 1. Exercise enhances the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus, which are crucial for memory and cognitive functions. 2. It offers protective effects against neurodegenerative diseases. 3. Regular physical activity is a powerful tool to combat normal cognitive decline and enhance overall brain health. Incorporating exercise into our daily routine not only strengthens our body but also sharpens our mind, empowering us to live more vibrant and purposeful lives. Let's commit to at least 30 minutes of exercise, three to four times a week, to protect our brain and boost our well-being. Remember, the journey of transformation is holistic! #Wellness #Transformation #ExerciseBenefits #MindBodySoul #HolisticHealth

I chanced upon this TED Conferences post and remembered some loved ones who died after living years with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Then I remembered the 2024 theme for #MentalHealthWeek in the U.K.: Move for mental health. I feel this BBC News article gives a great summary of it: https://lnkd.in/gzAHAqCu). Do you know anyone whose mental health improved after being more active? Have you noticed your resilience to life and your propensity to have better moods improve when you took up exercise? What can you do differently, even 30mins a day each week (that's the length of 1 regular TV episode on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday... lol)? Can you take a walk in your home or go outdoors? Can you skip in your room because the rainy season is filled with exercise excuses (greetings to my fellow rainy seasoners)? Can you go to the gym... finally? May is Mental Health Awareness month. What are you doing to encourage real solutions for you and those around you? In the end, the mental health of others and our own selves affects us all. Are you part of a problem or a solution? Thanks, #TEDConferences, for bringing this reminder to my feed. #MayIsMentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MforMentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthVictors
