Stress, worry, sadness, anger and other emotions are all a normal part of life. When these feelings run high for extended periods, however, they can interfere with the ability to carry out everyday tasks – and can signal more serious health conditions. Findings from Year 3 of the Hologic Global Women’s Health Index show that women are experiencing these emotions more now than three years ago. And there are notable gender gaps – for example, women are 20% more likely than men to say they experience sadness daily. We must work together to improve women’s health and well-being globally.
