SMALL RANT : The lack of start-up and small business funding opportunities for military veterans in this country is absolutely shameful. Just shameful. Not nearly anywhere towards the top of my list when it comes to raising money for my company - but mainly because I've known how non-existent it's been for a very long time (not my first company). I've watched founders who have become so notoriously shady and underhanded that they have Apple/Netflix/Hulu series made about them - THEN get funded...again. Yet, the individuals who have served and protected this country, and are looking to start companies, are met with putrid opportunities...or...laughable amounts of red tape. Not to mention, we make the BEST operators. The...best. I swear, in 5-10 years time, I'm going to start a fund built solely for the advancement and support of military veterans, sans all the absurd run-arounds and bureaucracy. Meanwhile, the next "boopty-boop" app will raise $10 million and never see the light of day.
